Course Details

It is an Arc welding process where in coalescence is produced by heating the job with an electric arc strews between a tungsten electrode and the job. A shielding gas (Argon, helium, nitrogen etc) is used to avoid atmosphere contamination of the molten weld pool. In this process welding current, water, inert gas supply is turned on. The Arc is struck either touching the electrode with a scrap metal tungsten piece or using a high frequency unit. The arc is struck between the electrode and the job. The spark jumps across the air gap between the electrode and the job. During welding operation, filler rod and tungsten electrode come closer to the weld pool.
